At Agapé, our classrooms provide a warm and secure environment where infants receive personalized attention and care. We create a stimulating space that lays the foundation for lifelong learning through exploration and movement.

Our infant curriculum focuses on essential areas of development:

Cognitive Development: Encouraging critical and creative thinking as children explore their world.

Language Development: Supporting effective communication through sounds, expressions, body language, and eventually oral and written language.

Physical Development: Promoting coordination and control of movements while increasing awareness of health and safety.

Social-Emotional Development: Helping children interact with others and understand their emotions and relationships with family and friends.

Toddlers

Our toddler curriculum focuses on essential areas of development:

Physical Development: Promoting coordination and control of large and small muscle movements while increasing awareness of health and safety.

 

Social-Emotional Development: Helping children interact with others and understand their emotions.

Preschool & Pre-K

At Agapé we use ABEKA books, which is a nationally recognized Bible-based curriculum.   Our Preschool curriculum focuses on essential areas of development:

Cognitive Development: Encouraging critical and creative thinking as children explore their world.

​

Language & Creative Arts : Supporting effective communication by helping children express themselves through sounds, expressions, and body language, leading to oral and written language skills. We focus on understanding others' communication and developing phonological awareness, alphabet knowledge, early reading, writing skills and Bible knowledge. Additionally, we encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and sequencing to support their overall cognitive growth.

Early Math and Science: Learning the ability to understand numbers , patterns, sorting and ordering. Along with the ability to use numbers to add, subtract and measure.

​

Physical Development: Promoting coordination and control of large and small muscle movements while increasing awareness of health and safety.

 

Social-Emotional Development: Helping children interact with others and understand their emotions while developing the ability to understand themselves, their families, their communities, and the world around them.

After Care

At our After Care program, children have the opportunity to stay on top of their schoolwork while collaborating with peers in a supportive environment. Our structured routine balances relaxation and energizing activities, ensuring that kids can unwind after a busy school day while fostering their academic and social skills. Join us for an engaging and enriching after-school experience!

​

Transportation is included from Mt. Rainer Elementary and Thomas Stone Elementary to the Center.

Curriculum Focus

Language & Art

Focuses on enhancing children’s expressive and receptive vocabulary, helping them develop strong conversation skills.

Music

Provides the ability to express ideas and feelings through music and movement

Movement

Emphasizes the development of fine and gross motor skills while promoting a healthy understanding of nutrition. 

Mathematics 

Providing the ability to understand numbers, patterns sorting, and basic addition and subtraction

Outside Play

Outside play is more than just fun—it's a vital opportunity for children to develop self-awareness and cultivate respect and empathy for their peers
